Accepting these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Apex Fort Worth Spray Foam Insulation to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them.

If a written estimate or contract we both sign says something different, that document controls for that job.

The services we provide

We're an insulation contractor in Fort Worth, TX. We install spray foam, blown-in and other insulation, seal air leaks, remove old insulation and put down vapor barriers for homes and businesses in Fort Worth and the cities around it. We're fully licensed and insured.

Our home page and service pages describe the work in general terms. The exact scope of your job is what's written on your estimate, because every attic, wall and crawl space is different.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free, in person and obligation-free. Your price depends on the size of the space, the material you choose, how much old insulation has to come out and how many gaps need sealing first. An estimate holds for the period written on it.

Once we open a space, we sometimes find things nobody could see from the hatch, like soaked or contaminated insulation, damaged framing or wiring that needs an electrician. If that changes the work, we'll stop, show you and get your written OK on the change before we go on. We won't add charges you haven't approved.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We put your job on the calendar once you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries and earlier jobs running long can move a start date, so we'll tell you as soon as we know.

Please give our crew clear access to the attic, crawl space or walls we're working on and the path to get there. On spray foam jobs, you, your family and your pets need to stay out until the re-entry time we give you, which is when it's safe to come back inside, and follow any other instructions from the foam maker.

To cancel or reschedule, call (817) 349-3679 as early as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered special material or started work, you may owe for the material and labor already used, as your contract states.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written on your estimate or contract. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a balance goes unpaid, we may use the collection rights Texas law allows.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

Every job comes with our satisfaction guarantee. If something about our work isn't right, call us and we'll come back and make it right. Materials also carry their maker's own warranty, which we pass along to you.

We don't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature upstairs, because results also depend on your HVAC system, ductwork, windows and how you use the house. Our guarantee doesn't cover later roof leaks, pests, other trades working in the space or changes made after we leave. Information on this website is general and given as is, so rely on your written estimate for the details of your job.

Limits on our liability

As far as Texas law allows, our liability for any claim about our work is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost use of the house, hotel stays or lost income.

We aren't responsible for conditions that were there before we arrived and weren't part of our scope, such as hidden mold, rot, old wiring or pest damage. Nothing here takes away rights that the law doesn't let us limit.

Settling disagreements and governing law

If you're unhappy, call us first, because most problems get fixed fastest that way. If we can't settle it together, we both agree to try mediation before going to court.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any lawsuit goes to the courts in Tarrant County, Texas, unless the law requires a different place.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The terms in place when you sign your estimate or contract are the ones that apply to that job.
